Server application virtualization pioneer AppZero announced a dual track series of webinars for companies that develop and sell software. Each track is explicitly designed to address the concerns of either the business decision maker (BDM) or the technical decision maker (TDM)/influencer.
"Because AppZero offers technology that is unique in the market, and frankly quite cool, we have naturally attracted a technical audience," explains Greg O'Connor, AppZero CEO. "But the capabilities that we bring to the ISV business model - from first level demos through PoC and implementation - have high value impact across the sales cycle of any company that sells software. This is technology that a software vendor executive can love - because it amps revenue as it cuts the time and cost of selling software. So, we're taking our business case directly to the business audience."
The webinars in this track include topics such as instant PoCs and demos; acceleration of the sales cycle and time to revenue; advances in server application distribution across an application's lifecycle; and a non-engineering approach to "SaaSification" of ISV solutions.
Similarly, webinars in the technical track are clearly labeled as "technical drill downs" covering the how-to of quickly moving and deploying well-known industry offerings such as SAP, WebLogic, and .NET applications. These sessions are generally spearheaded by AppZero CTO Bill Cullen who said, "Being able to deploy a fully configured SAP application in hours instead of days may be market magic, but it is just not credible until the technical pros can see exactly what makes it real."
Moving server applications to the cloud without re-engineering, and DevOps results minus DevOps pain, are the only topics that intersect both the business and technical audiences. The webinar series is planned through the end of the calendar year. To register, visit AppZero events.
